Used to go and watch up in Nottingham and Coventry all the time, not really sure what the level is like in the EIHL these days but years ago it was good fun, especially the NHL lockout year, that's when the last London team folded sadly.

A league of our own this season! If we can keep this team injury free there should be a good chance for another cup. It would be nice to get over there sooner rather than later.

The missus has a friend who has moved to Denver, so there is chatter from her she wants to visit, if I play it right it could be happening.
Yeah we're an absolute monster right now, even with a pretty low scoring PP, if we can take it into the playoffs we should do it but best team in the league can come unstuck early in the playoffs.
Got the Olympics to enjoy soon too.

Yeah, for whatever reason the PP has been pretty bad for a good while now, which is really odd considering our personell. We have scored a few over the last few games though, so long may it continue! That's the fear, isn't it - so typical to have a good season and then just choke in the playoffs, especially seeing as we're obviously meeting Wild and Stars again, those fudging nemesis clams. I even have a jersey with Rantanen on, felt like throwing it away when he forced his way out. What an idiot. And what a player. One of the best I've ever seen, unfortunately.
That's true! Canada will be a lot of fun to watch. Just saw their roster posted - it's like an NHL all-star team. Binnington/Kuemper, Doughty, Makar, Parayko, Theodore, Towes, McDavid, MacKinnon, Crosby, Hagel, Marchand, Marner. Haha, just ridiculous. They're in a pretty tought group with Czech and Switzerland though, but should walk all over them both. Sweden vs Finland another classic. I'm obliged to cheer for Sweden due to my heritage, and I reckon they will be a lot of fun too - lots of great players.
