I just watched Kill List on Amazon Prime because some wazzucks said it was good and that Ben Wheatley is a genius.

It was really amateurish, super super unbelievable, impossible to discern what people were saying, utterly ludicrous plot, really violent and disgustingly gory and also utter, utter brick. Avoid. So, so, so stupid.

Loved it. Watched in twice.

Watching Mr Burton, am I right in thinking there was some rumours about Burton the teachers intentions towards Richard?
I think only in the sense that there is often unfounded gossip about untypical relationships. I've not seen it, but doesnt the film use a glance to suggest possible tension, but then makes it clear that, even if there was, it was never remotely acted upon?

I watched the Kermode review today and he references a controversial book which apparently the film glosses over.

Good film TBH
