I just watched Kill List on Amazon Prime because some wazzucks said it was good and that Ben Wheatley is a genius.
It was really amateurish, super super unbelievable, impossible to discern what people were saying, utterly ludicrous plot, really violent and disgustingly gory and also utter, utter brick. Avoid. So, so, so stupid.

Watched a House of Dynamite last night and it was decent by Netflix movie standards but I expected better from a director of Kathryn Bigelow’s pedigree tbh. Started off well enough but the Rashomon style of storytelling wasn't done very effectively and became rather tiresome by the end imho.

I think only in the sense that there is often unfounded gossip about untypical relationships. I've not seen it, but doesnt the film use a glance to suggest possible tension, but then makes it clear that, even if there was, it was never remotely acted upon?

The Director who has done Prey, Killer of Killers and now Badlands really gets the franchise
