Next seasons squad

robp135

Ilie Dumitrescu
fudge it I’m going all in. We’re staying up.

Who’s in your squad for next season?
Who are you selling?
Let’s keep it somewhat realistic. Say a max £100M net spend.

Ive said that we are staying up and I believe it. I was optimistic after the Sunderland game and the Brighton game was a kick in the teeth. We beat Leeds and I think we are good. West Ham’s morale is far too low for them to get anything against Arsenal.

So I’ll wait a week before I post here … but I think that we all have an idea … and as for £100m, this mob need to be spending something more like £250 net to change anything on the pitch.

Safe to assume

- Vic, Bissouma, Romero, Dragusin, RKM, Davies, all gone

Like "new" signings

- Maddison, Kudus, Odobert, Deki
- I'm assuming we won't see Xavi for most of next season

Decisions to be made
- Richi or Solanke (think we move one, keep one)
- Pape, like him, but I still feel it's 2 out him, Gray, Bergvall (and the other two are a lot younger)
- Vuskovic, Moore, Lankshear, Williams-Barnett
- Vic replacement
- LB and RW positions
- CF

I'd assume we will spend (desperation position plus we likely got bent over on commitments to get RDZ in), plus money from sales (which if includes Romero, Vic and Pape, could be a decent bit)

I think I totally agree with your idea.

- Vic is not good enough at some of the bassics we need in this premier league. Corners etc. Has to go. Romero im tired of him going missing at times and his ego. Dragusin is not good enough, same for RKM. Davies its just time after being so loyal.

- Keep one of Solanke or Richy. For me its Richy but with his injury record and maybe him wanting to go play in brazil it might be the latter.
- Pape seems to have gone of the boil.

So GK, LB backup, CF, Winger and scott from bournemouth

Providing we do stay up I see we have been linked with Robertson and Senesi. Though surely the latter would stay put if Bourenmouth are in the CL

[New Keeper], Kinsky, Austin
Porro, Spence, Udogie, Souza
Romero, VDV, Danso, Vuskovic, Phillips
Gallagher, Madds, Gray, Bergval, Sarr, Bentancur, [New CM]
Kulu, Moore, Kudus, Tel, Xavi, Odobert
Solanke, Lankshear, [New FWD]

If I'm honest, even that squad is probably too big for league campaign and 2 cups. No space for Takai, Devine, Abbott or Yang either.

As people know, I'm not a fan of a squad overhaul and certainly don't want to see quantity over quality again. I'm not even sure we can get the 3 signings I've identified with the budget we have. We may only be able to get 2 of them.

Alex Scott and a proper goalscoring #9 to replace Solanke

Definitely also move on some squad players to integrate Vuskovic, Lankshear, Moore and Donely
