Yeah I've no opinion one way or the other -just feels like another unknown. And with his philosophy we certainly would need to invest heavily.....

Alonso is obviously standout of the two, because of his record in Germany. But i'd imagine his plan now is to wait it out and take over Liverpool.

Xavi though seems the next best of the currently not employed crop

I don’t care who they managed previously. Some on this forum have an odd fixation on Liverpool. I’d even take Arteta if it was possible even though he’s a massive clam. What’s the issue with Alonso or Klopp?

I’ve had a few drinks since watching that brick, so apologies if I’m not clear, but I was saying Klopp or Alonso would be the dream for us.

as well as Klopp and Alonso I’d add Roger’s. Although i dislike him I think he could shake up the team and get them playing in the short term. Other two are different gravy but what are the chances of them taking on such a poisoned chalice? Maybe they’d relish the challenge - like playing the hardest level on a computer game. Prove they are elite level….

I would bring in Klinsmann until the end of the season. He has experience of taking jobs on a short term basis and having an impact. Been at big clubs. Knows Spurs and the fans will get behind him. Mason & Heitinga as assistants,

It's a good question.

I'd say the main positives are his status, reputation and footballing philosophy. He would lift spirits, improve the style of play and attract big players.

Coaching wise it's a risk. But he's also got a very similar profile to Enrique did prior to his move to PSG. And we all know how that turned out.

Not really, Enrique won the treble at Barcelona and back to back titles.
