Tottenham working on £7million deal for ‘new Neymar’ Neilton
Spurs are readying a £7million bid for Santos ace Neilton after being convinced that he is the next big thing to come out of Brazil.
Tottenham scouts have been raving about the 19-year-old, who has already been dubbed the new Neymar, after he burst onto the scene at Santos earlier this year.
And now Andre Villas-Boas is willing to splash the cash to make sure he continues his development at White Hart Lane.
Neilton, a quick-silver winger who can also play up front, has become a regular for Santos in recent weeks following the sale of Neymar to Barcelona, and it appears they’ve found a perfect replacement.

Indeed, the pair not only graduated from the same academy, play the same position and look alike, but it’s thought that Neilton can also go on to have the same career.
And after Spurs failed to act when they spotted Neymar’s potential as a 15-year-old, they are determined not to miss out on Neilton.
The player is rumoured to have a £5million buyout clause, but it’s thought that it only applies to Brazilian clubs, and Spurs would have to pay over the odds to get their man.
Spurs are currently looking into the complexities of getting the player a work permit, before making their interest known with a £7million offer.
