Couldn't find any previous threads about this topic.

Any riders on here? What do you have, where do you ride?

I just got a 2007 Custom Harley Dyna Street Bob - stage one upgrade.

Now when I have a bike again it would be fun to explore UK some more so any scenic routes suggestions around London area would be appreciated.

Whoa, not the kind of replies I expected. What's wrong with this thread? I thought there might be some fellow riders on this forum and was curious to know what they ride, hangout spots etc. Wrong forum I guess, apologies.

Of course they are, look no further than the "What's your favourite U.S. sports team?" thread. It's totally gay and has lots of replies. Your gay motorcycle thread just hasn't picked up any momentum yet, but we'll get there!

GHod you brits are boring! :)

Had a bike until I moved to Oz. Wouldn't have one here, too many bikers get killed by incompetent car drivers. I miss it like crazy.

I think Bullet is the forum motorcycle conneiseur btw.

My ride was a Honda CBR600F, which I luckily survived two summers riding/clinging on to. That was two kids and one wife ago, and a newly renovated house. I want to get a bike to ride to and from work, something cheap and easy to maintain.

I used to own a CBR 600 and had a few close calls as well. Now I'm too old (33) to ride sport bikes so I decided to become loud and obnoxious :)

Your wife is actually agreeing with you getting another bike?

She gives the impression that it would be okay, but I think she only says so because she knows it ain't happening.

1978 Honda CB400/4... comes out to play about twice a year when I am in need of a dose of back ache, but I still love it

Err..... not quite mate! No Harleys, but.....

My first. 1978. Suzuki GP100. Followed by, in order IIRC:

Honda XL185
Honda CB250N
Honda CB400N
Yamaha RD 250E
Suzuki SP370
Suzuki GS450
Yamaha XS750
Yamaha XS850
Suzuki GS550
Yamaha RD250LC
Yamaha RD350LC
Kawasaki 650 Tengai
Kawasaki GPZ600R

Plus the usual war wounds.

Bunch of mates who were like minded too. I rode loads: Honda CX500. 400/4. CB650. CB750. CB900. CBX1000. Yamaha XT500. Suzuki GT185/250/380. RG250. X7 250. GS750. GS1000. DR750. GSX750. GSXR750. Yamaha KH250. KH400. SR500. XZ550. XJ650. XJ900. Kawasaki Z400. GPZ 550, GPZ750 plus turbo version, GPZ900R, Z1100. ZX1000. Yamaha 750 Tenere. Laverda Jota 180. Various BMW's. Guzzi 850 Le Mans. Off the top of my head.

My favourite? A mate had a Ducati 500 Pantah, which was fabulous. They must be worth a packet now. Plus the Kawasaki Tengai.

Another mate recently got a rather nice 1975 Triumph Trident triple. Quite a steal. Now very valuable in good nick.

Wow, that's an impressive line-up mate! Guzzi 850 Le Mans has always been one of my favourite bikes. How does it ride?

My kind of ride! Original or have you café'd it?

If you appreciate cafe racers, have a look at this: My friend's 2011 HD forty right 1200cc. Awesome ride but your back starts aching after riding for more than 30 min :)
