Yes and you will keep seeing opinions like this until we replace them with better players, that’s kind of what happens when you finish 17th two seasons in a row as much as some posters want to pretend that didn’t happen and act like we’re pushing for the top 4. I know you only like seeing positive opinions on here and recoil at anything realistic let alone negative.

The whole "finished 17th" to tarnish every player that was here though is pretty silly and seems to use it for every player who was here, especially when said player played mainly from the bench. We gave one of the main culprits of poor form a bumper pay rise and the captaincy.
I think the reality is people say when someone has had a good game and critic when he has a bad one, he certainly came up with some important performances at the business end last year when we needed it, including an absolute screamer.

It’s not silly. People overestimate how good our players are, and some posters simply don’t like opinions that are realistic.
Our forwards were one of the main reasons we finished 17th last season. We can blame Ange, Frank, the injuries, or say the Europa League win affected our league form, but the reality is that the squad needed—and still needs—serious work.
People say I constantly post about one or two subjects or players, yet THEY are the ones bringing those subjects up when I haven’t even mentioned them. Somehow, I’m still the one who’s supposedly obsessed.

Im not sure they do in the main, I think they like them and support their fans. I dont think you see many extreme levels of overestimate.
For example I slated Tel but have given due when he has played well. I think thats just balance TBH.

Because we played him in the wrong position. He never suffered offensively, he suffered because we tried to play an attacker as a defender and the boy didn't have a defensive bone in his body.
