In fairness we also have the privilege of knowing he came through with an exceptional youth level.

I just cant see how in his current form he steps up, I really would love to be wrong there 100%

It's clear he's got potential, but also has the ability to make fairly simple things look difficult. The tenacity is there but not the finesse, reading of the game or passing range / ability to get by players.

As you say, it's whether he steps up, because there's a case of the Lewis Holtby's for me. Obviously a hard worker, but sort of just charging around off the ball, and lacking quality on it...
