They have just won a trophy and he's taken some serious personal abuse this season. I wouldn't be surprised by his stepping down.Don't leave, Dan - whatever would I do with my time?

In all seriousness, I doubt it, unless there's an ownership change. For no other reason than the Lewis family trust would probably prefer having someone close to the Lewises in charge, and Ventakesham is not that man.
If there is an ownership change, though...

Some terrible assumptions in there.I would mate, because Tottenham is all he has. He's not like other chairmen in the league, who are either a) hired hands by the real owners, and so replaceable at will, or b) people like Todd Boehly, who have interests and a public profile outside football.
Levy has spent close to 30 years here, and has basically nothing to occupy him outside of Spurs. His Mr. Byrite discount clothing brand shut down long ago, ENIC divested their stakes in Rangers, Sparta Prague, etc. long ago.
He's spent half his life at this club, while being its part-owner, chairman and unquestioned authority on everything that goes on, from the color of the fire extinguishers up to the future of the club itself. Leaving Spurs would mean obscurity, if wealthy obscurity.
Men like that don't let go easily.

He is 63 ...so could happily be on the wind down to retirement.
Wouldnt surprise me if this was all pre-planned and sorted before our win, if we won, Levy now pulls the trigger and they "retire" with a handsome payoff.Has our value potential for new owners ever been higher than now?
In fairness we don't know do we. Could be money moving ahead of a change of ownership and this is the start of it. Levy has been shopping for investment for a while and admitted that if it were in the interest of the club rondo so he would step down as part of the process.I would mate, because Tottenham is all he has. His age may not be the issue it might be the level of vitriol he's experienced this year.
Cullen and co leaving as well would be a complete changing of the guard.
I'm doubtful it's true as it's silly season (we will be linked to Damiao shortly I'm sure) but there's clearly change afoot - mason, Cullen, and changes in the youth setup too.
It's been ridiculous this season. We even get a cup, finally, and he's only met with boos. He has done a tremendous job for our club, in my opinion. Compare where we are now to when he took over - one of the richest clubs in the world, the best stadium in the world, the best training facilities in the world - we're setup to be a juggernaut for years to come. All thanks to Levy. I'll take my hat off for him if he leaves. Got nothing but respect for what he has done for us. That said, it's probably time he left the job to someone else.
