Tbf I wouldn't mind just having more faith in Gray and allowing him more game time to develop, even if we have to go through a period of pain. I think like Bergvall it would be rewarding in a relatively short space of time.....

I personally would be letting Bents go, leaving us with Paul/Berg/gray/Sarr/2 new heads

I'm not writing him off, I still think he has the tools to be a very good player, but we need to start seeing Sarr putting a string of very good games together as well, he's 23

We’d need to let more than 1 go. Don’t forget we’ve also got Simons, Kulusevski and Maddison

I think 5 CMs (with 1 a youngster) and 2 ACMs (several WFs can operate there too) is the sweet spot.

I'd probably keep what we have (making Palhinha permanent) and let Biss and Maddison go.

The next two windows need to be all about LWF, LB and CF.

Maddison depends on how he looks when he returns. No doubt we miss him now and it's not easy getting a player immediately better than him.
