Hopefully “small problem” in RDZ’ world ,the same as “small problem” when TF was managing

Roberto De Zerbi has reported James Maddison has a 'small problem' and thus will not be risked on our pre-season tour.
Keen not to take any chances, especially considering the midfielder missed almost the entirety of last season with an anterior cruciate ligament injury, Madders will be rested as a precautionary measure for the rest of the tour.

The same applies to Mateus Fernandes, who, on Tuesday, Roberto reported had fatigue in his calf.

"James has a small problem," he confirmed in his press conference after our open training session in Sydney, "I don't want to take any risks, especially in this part of the season and especially for James because he suffered a long injury last season. He's an important player for us. The same for Mateus Fernandes. It is not the right moment to take risks. We will work again when we are back in London."

I think there is a theme here, RDZ probably realizes a huge part of Spurs problems over the last few years has been the injuries and starting the season with 6+ players injured. Add the fact of returning WC players, and quite a few of our players coming off long term injury, seems we are wrapping everyone senior in cotton wool, no chances with meaningless preseason games.

Actually think it's quite smart.
 
Not sure what the overall feeling is about him but i personally feel he has a lot to offer provided he can stay fit. He’s a match winner and we’re in seriously short supply of those.
