He scored quite a few goals in Sweden, when he played a more attacking role, so he has it in him.
But I don't believe we should go for that solution. We need to add more quality, and if we are to spend big on one player, it's the AM position imo.

Big blow for us and a real challenge for Frank. Undeniably our most creative player in the last couple of years and even with him we were short on creativity.

I was going to say, people thinking more about how it impacts the team but for Madders himself - when he missed out on the most crucial/enjoyable part of our season after putting his body on the line, especially that Frankfurt game where his bravery won that penalty and ultimately the tie.
His personality will definitely be missed around the training ground by the players too. Wishing him a speedy recovery....

You get the feeling Madds will be such a positive person to have around the squad even injured. I bet the club will use him in many capacities in things like the charitable trust. When the time is right, I reckon we'll put him to work, before the next set of twins come along and he'll have his hands full in other ways.
