Interim Manager Discussion - Igor Tudor joined until end of season

Would you have these as interim manager to finish the season?

  • John Heitinga

  • Current Coach (Lewis, Cochrane, Burnett, Carr)

  • Ryan Mason

  • Jurgen Klinsmann

  • Chris Hughton

  • Brendan Rodgers

  • Edin Trzic

  • Gareth Southgate

  • Former Manager Hoddle/Jol/Redknapp/Sherwood

  • Stick with Frank no matter what

We can absolutely do our part in getting behind the team at home. It’s all we as fans can do and we must do it
It’s hard when the players are not up for it or the manager gets it wrong week in week out.

The only times I can remember in the recent years where the fans were bouncing week in week out regardless of the result was under Pochettino and Redknapp but it was most fun under Jol as we had no expectation but it was swashbuckling.

I don’t expect that immediately but Martin Jol set the tone and the fans responded thereafter.

Someone needs to come here and remind the fans what this place means to the fans and how good the fans can be.

That last game against arsenal under Poch still sends shivers down my spine.

It would have been crystal clear anyway that barring something almost unbelievable he would be done come the summer.

One of the potential benefits with him is that he's been in similar situations before.

It seems rather likely that the relationship between Frank and the players had soured. I think that's always going to impact performances. If they can't get their foot on the pedal for a relegation scrap with a new guy in even an interim our problems are insurmountable.

Another potential motivation imo would be - do you want us to take the CL games seriously? Get us to a position where we can.
From what I've heard, Tudor is more clever than he lets on but he's not going to start a tactical revolution 12 games away from the end of the season. It's all about restoring a sense of togetherness within the club and convince the players to give everything in those remaining few matches.

We won't be privy to it, but every word coming out of his mouth will be more important than anything he draws on a board. I hope he finds the right tune and I also hope there are people at the club who still enjoy a positive relationship with the players because he will need every help he can get, in my opinion.

Its natural to feel worried when on the way in you have next to no knowledge about the guy coming in. Yeah, we can read reports/articles on him but that's just us self soothing.

The lack of PL experience is the biggest worry/risk. Due to timescales we've got one shot at this.

I don't think someone like Dyche would be the answer BUT the guy that replaced him, Pereira, I thought had Wolves looking decent early on...until whatever went wrong went wrong.

What is true...is the options were limited.

Wolves were flying under him for the remainder of the season he came in part way through - Forest are a concern
