If You Could Know Now...

I’m more interested in the games than the banter. Consequently it doesn’t bother me that much if we go down- we’re a long way off being competitive in this league.

I'm still not there but last weekend was probably close to as low as I've felt about our chances of surviving once things settled after the final whistle. Seeing West Ham score a last minute winner, seeing them get away with a blatant penalty, watching us labour a bit and seeing Solanke and Xavi end their seasons all dampened my enthusiasm about the win that I thought would kick start our push for survival. Never in a million years expected to feel like that.

However, that's emotion talking. Factually, we're still only a point from safety with 4 games to go. We're still in this and I've rarely seen any race this close, be it for a title, European place or relegation spot that didn't have some sort of twist.
