They generate a lot of money that is seemingly centralised and goes back into the country.
Lots of rumours that with the affordability checks really hampering online betting in this country that the Government will centralised betting through a 'tote' only firm, strong rumours it will be the Saudi's who do this.
If this happens they will have a lot of control over sport in this country.
I did match betting for years so got banned from most companies, exclusively bet with betfair these days, usually the exchange sometimes the sport book.
Now I'm not bragging here but I do well, particularly inplay horses, anyway on the sport book this weekend I made £160 horses, £220 dogs and lost £90 on football, the football was made up of 5 bets of which West ham and Sunderland decided to fcuk me.
Anyway after the losing bets, the sports book suspended my account until I can prove I can afford the loss, aside from feeling dirty backing west ham i gave no issues. The is £2,000 in that account and I finished the day up, just had 2 stupid losses.
What the fcuk happened to this country, something very strange happening.
