So as we approach march and we are in with a shout of qualifying for champs league and then she goes of on maternity leave, the club will be in limbo. She may not truthful with Daniel Levy from the start and let him know that she is expecting. Also, I doubt she will even mention it after the 3 month scan.

Daniel will be peeved as he got to fork out maternity leave and leave the position open, hence he will have to give a temp job to David pleat in her absence until she returns to work

How is this different to someone picking up a health issue? Something that would certainly be more of an issue with older managers than younger managers? Would it follow from your logic that we should only hire young managers?

Most managers are at least 40 years old, at a point where most women have either already had children or decided not to.

If the club cannot trust the manager to inform us about very significant upcoming life events like getting pregnant then that person should not have the job in the first place.
