Have you ever won anything?

I won a flat screen plasma TV in a prize draw in the Evening Standard. 40 inch no less. I guess around 1999. Had it installed and friends came round to marvel at it. Back then it was a thing of wonder indeed. I've not won a thing before or since.
 
Youth darts comp once when I could actually play. Few tickets for sports but I think one of them was a fix.

I won loads of local sports comps mainly because we had some lad who was great at everything and won us many a trophy in football and cricket. I was a mere number. I loved it
 
Won a couple of cups with my football team back in the day. Won a drawing competition once. I won the school chess championship when I was 13 or whatever it was. I came second in a Tony hawk 2 competition once as well, won a snowboard. That's about it. :p

There a lot to be said for being a Wes Brown or John O'Shea - get the silverware, the mansions, the soft core porn actress wives etc., just by being in the right place at the right time
