Exactly and its not even always about winning (although that will help) but effort. For those that advocate converting the lower north to standing that would mean no pitch side tickets at junior prices and your average 5/6 year probably wouldn't be able to see unless they were in the very front row of a standing area . Pitchside junior tickets are only available in blocks 113, 112, 111, 110 ,109 and 108 , yes they could go in lower east or west but would have to pay full adult price. As shown last night nothing wrong with the atmosphere if you have a winning team.
On the first point ever since the stadium opened block 113 next to the away fans although not a standing area has only been available to members in the members sale , there are no ST's in that block and junior adult tickets are available.- Look into inserting an all-standing singing section next to the away fans section, possibly with concessions for under 35s.
- I'd also look at making the seats less spacious! How much extra capacity would be added with an extra seat per row? Obviously not one for now, but when seats need replacing. Having a more tight knit fanbase is preferable, would help with the atmosphere imo, and increase capacity.
Ultimately, the experience of going to a game needs to be more vital than the result.
Tell you what would help, dampen the sound coming from the away section.
They appear make more noise than us.
