Harvey Elliott

1. Why would liverpool sell if he is that good?
2. What did he say? People are referring to something but I have no idea what?

when he was about 15 he was filmed taking the tinkle out of Harry Kane and the way he talks. Somehow the film got out in to the open.

I’d be wary of holding too much stock in the u21 performances, the teams we faced seemed massively less experienced than ourselves and Elliot was pretty much the oldest player there. Looks a decent player but I’d be looking more at the Liverpool performances as a benchmark.

If you take away Palmer who City didn't want to sell but got rid as he didn't want to be there, most transfers between rival teams never seem to be as good as they look. Arsenal have done it a number of times from City and Chelsea. There is a reason teams are willing to not only sell the player but to a rival as well and to help strengthen them is not that reason.

I agree
But Arsenal brought squad players off city to be starters and they were experienced players roo
Eliott isn’t in that second bracket and would be like solanke when he left pool for example

Frankly we aren't Liverpool's rivals ATM. Maybe if things go to plan we will be in a couple of seasons, but not now, and if that £50m gets them e.g. Isak it will be worth it for them.

Not sure we need Elliott though, unless we are planning on selling a lot of midfielders.

Is he better than what we have in certain areas is the only question. If he is then signing him makes sense.
