Harry Kane MBE

agreed there. I’m not a fan of many of our players right now at all. That they criticised Poch for being too distant and that his sessions were all the same, and then leaked that Jose’s sessions were too boring and they missed Poch...these guys are jokers.
Poch problem was he too close then tried to get that distance from the players and it confused everyone
Add in that when things went wrong he tried to deal with every detail and they were fried
He needed a new coach to join his team and be a fresh voice. Every top manager does that but Poch is too loyal

How many trophies has he won in the last 4 years? How many trophies did he win in the 4 years before that? How many in the 4 years before that etc..

I think you'll find a downward spiral.

Roma are as 'established' as us

One thing i will agree on: if he wins a trophy with Roma it will confirm that we are a cursed club...

You can find his trophy haul online and test the facts for yourself. Busted flush lol really? The only club that he has failed to win at is spurs.

Levy will get bent over as he always does mate. I suspect we’ll get 100m for Kane and the words ‘special relationship’ will get used.

And then the narrative of buying fodder at the last minute as "clubs knowing that we have money" to soften the blow. Followed by levy fans saying that its a masterstroke will played by levy.

As the years have gone by the titles and cups have become much less frequent. Anyone can see it. It's why he's not getting jobs at CL-level clubs anymore

Ok, can i ask you to name me exactly who those players were that we should have 'been decisive in getting out'?
Plus are you talking about summer 2018 or summer 2019 that they should have been ejected?

Honestly: Rose, Eriksen and Toby.

I can’t remember the exact timelines, but I just think it’s the thing we protect at all costs, if we want to compete with clubs with more money.

It can’t have been helpful having Rose hanging around the club this season. Eriksen’s head was gone although he was always professional. Toby clearly had some kind of bust up with him and challenged his authority.

So I think; move them out. Maintain the culture. Otherwise we’ve already lost. We succeeded when the players would run through walls to win. Without that, we’re an average side without more money.

Hmm, Toby, i'll give you that as clearly their relationship deteriorated and he wasn't starting games anymore after he got over his injury in early 2018. Wasn't that to do with Poch having got Levy top offer him a big payrise only for his agent (his dad?) to say "hang on we're not singing this as we verbally agreed as we've seen what Van Dyck is now getting at Liverpool and we want to equal that".
This for me was kind of a sly intentional shot across our bows by Liverpool and alongside the Jose bids for Dier were ways in which our rivals attempted to chip a little at our hard wall we'd bult (which they were very envious about).
But being fair to Levy he did put Toby up for sale but no-one came in for him....

Rose? Yes, many would have sold him after his 'Google' comments, but i'm not actually sure Poch was in that group before summer 2019 when we bought Sessegnon and Rose nearly joined Watford.

I also think Poch could be accused of being inconsistent in how he treated players who showed bad attitudes: how often did Poch play Eriksen even when he was phoning it in? Ditto Alli?
He bombed out Townsend for arguably less than what Rose did, yet kept Rose (i'm sure if he'd asked Levy to sell Rose to Emirates Marketing Project, Levy would have done it)

We didn’t as we didn’t replace him
Yes we did, with an England RB that if I remember correctly got to a wc semi final (although don't quote me that, I don't follow England :)) and could win a league title this season.
And was intelligent enough to see our dressing room had "issues".

Certainly didn't adjust how we attempted to play given we didn't have Walker's strength, speed and stamina to constantly run up and down the flank...
We replaced him with basically a more stupid player who wasn’t as quick
Then we wanted to replace him with a CB being converted who got injured before we could try him out

He's playing a dangerous game, this drags on, England don't perform at the euros and Harry will get hung out to dry.
He's England captain, he knows how Levy works, he walking right in to it.

you think England is going to perform at the Euros?

hahaha, thanks, my first laugh for the night ..

I'm sorry, H.

The club let you down, and I'm sorry we had those mediocre, cowardly, cheapskate c*nts in charge and couldn't build the team you wanted, the team you deserved.

He actually said the issues were with how he was managed and treated
He was injured but played for most of the season before we sold him and was then told we will sell him...

Didn’t Tripps have a year with Walker?

Aurier was the replacement in my head?

We did.

All things considered it wasn’t a slam dunk, but Aurier came into a team not playing as well as the one Walker had been in. Walker used to make a lot of mistakes too.
Aurier isn’t a patch on Walker. The guys too error prone without recovery ability
He was sold by PSG for that reason too and of course his off the field actions didn’t help
