To be fair, they haven't had any one to interest a bigger club since suarez, although there has been coutihno to barca stories this window.

It is not just the fact that he is the best striker in the league but also the fact that even though he is not our captain he is the "leader" of that squad. And when add in to the mix the fact that if we sold Harry all our stars would see us as unambitious and there would be a stampede to be the next player out of the club I think it is fair to say someone has been smoking a crac pipe.

I cannot remember the last time I have been so not bothered about United being linked to one of our players, not even remotely

Do not get me wrong i do believe Eriksen is up there with the best, i also think Coutinho is a lot better then some think he is. Saying that i would not swap him for Eriksen.

Coutinho is a good player but no where near consistent enough. His highlights are brilliant but there are plenty of games in which he doesn't turn up or influence enough

I would suggest that for the first third of last season Eriksen was not all that but in the second half of the season he showed some awesome form

Depends on the league. The premier league is one of the top two in the world despite what people mate say so by default you would be one of the best in the world unless the actual standard in that position is very low for the league.

But coming back to my comments it was comparing coutinho and Erisken strangely on a Kane thread... and one has now had a season where he has been the best in his position in the league so is the better player right now. And IMO it comes down to ability to consistently deliver... which over a 38 games season Erisken has, regardless of some games early on
