All better than VicarioLloris and Vicario have been the only number 1’s until now. The rest have been backups that only came in due to injury. Vorm, Gazzaniga, Forster, Austin and Kinsky who has now became #1.

Well, we've only had him and Lloris since 2012, and Hugo was world class
To be honest, I'd probably rate our EPL-era GKs something like:
1) Lloris
2) Robinson
3) Thorstvedt
4) Vicario
5) Friedel
6) Walker
7) Gomes
8) Keller
9) Sullivan
Another player no-one is that keen onSounds like we’re doing all we can to get Venom’s wages off the books… hopefully making way for a marquee forward signing

Yeah. I guess he played 4 years either side. It was the introduction of the backpass rule that suddenly killed his career
sounds like he is not in very high demand tooSounds like we’re doing all we can to get Venom’s wages off the books… hopefully making way for a marquee forward signing
Yeah, Friedal only second to Lloris for me, rock solid keeper before being good with the feet was wanted or needed.Robinson much lower down the list for me. He was dreadful for the last 18-24 months. I’m convinced he was blind when it came to shots from outside the area. Vicario also way lower than Friedel.
A loan without an obligation is pointless.Another player no-one is that keen on
I think he only has 2 years left...so if Juve burn 1 of those seasons with no obligation...he potentially comes back with just one year left. Then worth £5m max
We never saw him at his peak. We only got him for the very end of his career and he only did one season as #1Yeah, Friedal only second to Lloris for me, rock solid keeper before being good with the feet was wanted or needed.

he's a pretty intelligent commentator too - very direct and technicalFriedel was a great guy but at 40 years old was a poor keeper. He kept getting beaten in the bottom corners and didn't venture more than a yard off his line ever. He never put himself where he might get hurt either. I was very mad at Harry for his treatment of Gomes. Considering he was supposed to be such a great man manager, that was shocking treatment. Gomes then proved Harry and all his other doubters wrong by his incredible performances at Watford. Fans like me weren't in the bit surprised at how strong he came back.
I always admired Brad though. He tried to take "soccer" back to the US and in the process lost all his money. He had to start again and play to that grand old age when others were retiring and putting their feet up. Just shows what the human body can do if you have the right focus and discipline.
