I get, but Kroupi was injured almost two weeks ago at this point.

My assumption is Savinho/Gapko are waiting on their clubs in's, if we think this guy is our backup, we should have done it quickly

I wonder if we still might be assessing going back in for Kroupi for the CF spot. If he's back in October, maybe its worth signing him injured and making do for the first 7 or 8 weeks?

If we think he's the one and are going to take him on a 6 year contract, it shouldn't make that much difference. £90m rather than £100m perhaps?
