From a purely business perspective, you’re correct. But, morally and when it comes to football, you’re wrong.

The World Cup final will attract event junkies, many of whom are minted. They’ll have little interest in the actual sport or game but they’ll be at a World Cup final. Is it right that those people will get tickets over people who’ve likely supported their country for years and through qualifying?

Yes, of course. If they're willing to pay more then they have more right to the ticket than anyone else.

I really really like the McLaren 720s. I'm fairly sure that I like it more than most people who own one. Does that mean that they should be sold at a discount to me because I somehow deserve one more?

Coming to the PL sooner rather than later

It already has.

I've managed to get my son into a few Emirates Marketing Project games around the South by just paying more. I also rarely miss out on gigs I want to go to thanks to dynamic pricing and touts. It's a good system that works as it should.
