FA Cup 2016/17

Another great win for Lincoln. And a good win for Oxford too which seems to have slipped under the radar.

Anybody at home will do, although rather we didnt get anybody else from the Top 6 (let them play each other), and as the last round, if we had to get an away tie, could live with a trip to Blackburn, Wolves or Huddlersfield

Tells you all you need to know about the esteem this competition is now held in.

Anyone know what was up with the drop in the Palace support today? 13,000 or so. Fat Sam factor?

Can't help but think we'll get Arsenal away in the next round. A big Cup Tie & means Lincoln can play against a lower league side, keeping the potential magic of the cup alive.

Tbh the chances are high of a big gun away. Law of averages says we are due an away draw this round, and also after 2 non-PL teams we are due a PL team too.

Would rather avoid a PL team away, but if we have to draw one, could live with another trip to Boro, or Hull

As long as we can avoid the rest of the remaining top 6 and ideally not an away trip to another Prem side in particular Boro and Burnley off the back of the trip to Gent.

Being selfish we get back from Ghent early evening on Saturday so don't want a long journey on Sunday.

My ideal dream would be to breeze through the 5th Round, Goons in the Quarter Finals....taking them to a replay at WHL under the lights in an FA Cup game for the final time and securing our place in the Semi Finals en route to winning the tournament. What dreams are made of.

In reality I would be happy with the easiest route to winning the trophy avoiding the big boys who knock each other out before exiting themselves in a shock upset.

Watford nearly out and Hull getting a beating at Fulham.

Right now only 6 PL teams through with a maximum of 8 in the Last 16

mmm. The cynic in me tells me there wont be more than one all-PL tie in the draw...hot ball/cold ball??
