The Ex Spurs are now leading on the goals scored so far :
Ex Spurs = 2 (Bale, Modric)
Current Spurs = 1 (Dier)
 
Anyone else really happy with this tournament so far? As always when there's change to anything someone will react with instinct negativity, but I've really enjoyed it so far. The new format doesn't seem to have taken anything away from the tournament and might possibly have added to it.
 
I've only watched three games and they were quite dull. The fact that I've only got one result wrong in the prediction league tells me it's not the most exciting stuff.
 
The fact that no result is a huge deal yet is also a bit annoying . 1 win could get anyone through in 3rd place, maybe even 3 draws. So it still doesn't feel like anything is hinging on these set of group ties yet.

Saying that. Usually after the first set of games the goals start to flow a bit more so hopefully it will warm up a bit as we go on

Certainly has looked like a huge deal for the teams involved. Looking at the celebrations of fans, players and coaches as well as the frustration and even despair in those that have failed to get the result they wanted it seems to be a massive deal.
