On that I think Tudor has a bit of a problem to figure out with Kolo Muani, he clearly has quality we need, but he's not exactly the most engaged presser around.

Otherwise agree on the need for the pressing to be cohesive. Another challenge if Tudor wants that from us, getting that ingrained quickly.

Having Richy and/or Tel as WFs would help that situation

They won't. And they will have learnt nothing from this if we survive. If all these people are still here come Aug. Good luck Poch. Cos we wont buy what we need and buy more kids. And if we dont go down this year. Then next year we will
We won't go down this year or next year. But we'll be stick in midtable for a while if things don't change.

Yeah Muani is dinitely a weak link in the press.

Is Gray actually that good on the ball, really? Hes not awful by any means but hes never really done anything impressive or out of the ordinary that you wouldn't really expect from any PL level player? Hes got potentially but people are speaking of him as if hes already there now and that I can't see or understand.
No he’s not the finished article. I don’t think he’ll live up to some of the hype.

Saying that can’t be any worse on the ball than our current CM options. My GHod they are poor on the ball. Bergvail is the best of them.

West Ham and Forest have tougher fixtures left than we do, that will save us.
We need probably 9-11 points.

We are unlikely to get anything at Liverpool or Chelsea as we get bummed there on our best days. Villa away will be difficult too. The remaining away games are Fulham, Sunderland and Wolves. Could see us getting points in those games - could also see us losing all 3.

For me, that means we have to win 3 or 4 from Palace, Forest, Leeds, Brighton and Everton at home. That's a 60% to 80% win rate in those games. In the last 28 home league games, our win rate has been slightly less than 15% (4 wins).

We are in deep, deep brick and all the performance indicators actually suggest we are going down. We're relying on the trend, that has been overwhelming for at least 12 months, not being a true representation of how good we are.

Some would call that optimism. Some would call it delusion.

Wham have to play Arsenal, City, Villa, and Pool. Their games are harder in general (Forests are as well). 9-10 points from Fulham, Sunderland, Wolves, Palace, Forest, Leeds, Brighton, and Everton will be enough. Not saying we aren't in a relegation fight, I just think there's others worse than us and that will save us.

I call it bloody depressing.
I hoped and thought we might have got something out of yesterday. False optimism maybe but I would have taken the (expected) loss with signs that we would pick up points in future games. Now I am really not so sure. Still think we will survive the drop but it ain’t going to be comfortable watching.
