Dimitar Berbatov
I think that was "Head of Football Matters." All we need now is the "Grand Pooh-Bah of Football Manoeuvres," and we'll be all set.
Oh i see....you mean like:

You gotta hope all these people add up to more than Levy.It certainly looks that way - roles either undertaken by Levy directly or spread around a small group

Always said Levy would not be appreciated until he's gone. You gotta hope all these people add up to more than Levy.
How many Windows do we think the Lewis family have before the fans turn on them? The things is they have to be, you can't remove someone, give it the big talk like they have and not. Its one thing us being under Levy, its another removing him to improve and becoming worse
They get to end if next summer IMOHow many Windows do we think the Lewis family have before the fans turn on them?
They have to hit the ground running
I'm on the same timeframe, but it will be interesting to see what the crowd is like if we get to the 15th-20th Jan with no big name signing to improve the squad. They get to end if next summer IMO
Not saying it's you expecting this, but would be pretty silly to expect any big name signings in January. For starters January isn't really the window for that, and we have made ourselves pretty unattractive to sign for the 'bigger' players.I'm on the same timeframe, but it will be interesting to see what the crowd is like if we get to the 15th-20th Jan with no big name signing to improve the squad.

I agree with all of this, the problem the club has, is the fans are already tinkled off, it will just be another failure in some fans eyes. Not saying it's you expecting this, but would be pretty silly to expect any big name signings in January. Bottom half of the table, football style poor, manager getting criticised, our own fans abusing players, unlikely to do much in CL beyond the league phase, not guaranteed Europe next season - why would anyone sign for us in January who's that good?
People talk about Semenyo, that's wishful thinking - both Manchester clubs and Liverpool looking at him, I seriously doubt that's happening. Maybe if we have a better second half of the season and finish in Europe we could tempt the odd better player if we stump up the cash, but I really wouldn't expect anything game changer wise this window. And I wouldn't blame the 'new regime' for it either....
If Semenyo goes to City then we should be back in for SavinhoI agree with all of this, the problem the club has, is the fans are already tinkled off, it will just be another failure in some fans eyes.
Semenyo is unrealistic and we've done the right thing and moved on if we've been given the not interested.
I think there are opportunities, Semenyo goes to city and that frees up one of our targets.

If they get Semenyo he will be surplus, his price will go down, they're not going to keep three LWsReally don't rate Savinho at the prices being banded about

He's far from crap and better than anything we haveAnd he will still be crap

I liked Savio at Girona so I would have been Interested. Given his Girona season I would have said a 50m ish fee was fair at that point.I mean thats a low bar
If we hadn't been linked with him at he higher price I doubt he would have peaked your interest before? Happy to be wrong there but I think its another were we are linked at 70m, people want him because of the fee, realise he isn't very good and accept it for a cheaper price?
Its the race the the bottom
I can't be having someone at 50m who was no good at 70m because they are cheaper.I liked Savio at Girona so I would have been Interested. Given his Girona season I would have said a 50m ish fee was fair at that point.
He hasn't really impressed at City but Pep doesn't use him correctly imo, but we'll see what he can do once he leaves City for where he does end up.
It's entirely possible that the Girona year was a one off pinnacle season of his career and he's been some what found out since, but honestly if we had signed him instead of City I would have been very positive of the move at the time.I can't be having someone at 50m who was no good at 70m because they are cheaper.
Its what we have done for years.
He is muck
