Real madrid because they have a huge fanbase. Stadium.
PSG because they have a huge sponsorship deal with qatar airlines. That isn't a stadium sponsor but pays an eye watering amount to put up posters in the stadium.

Real maybe because there are many tourists buying merch? Cant believe average Spanish fans spend 100m+ more on match days over a year.

PSG sponsorship would come under Commercial revenue no?

Have you not looked at their commercial revenue? being almost 50M higher than United and pretty much 100M higher than any other big 6 club ...

*cough* questionable *cough*
Yes...I get that...but £88m for match day?..Surely there's acres of room for some jiggery pokery there and probably less suspicious (or easier to hide) than the problems they keep running into on the commercial side?

To answer my question:

- CL games must create 40m extra in match day revenue, for a decent run in the competition and much more if you get to the semifinal.

- being a top club and more of a tourist destination must elevate shop sales. Do tours come under match day or commercial?

I’m not sure if anyone has watched tonight’s LWOS, but Lee McQueen says he is certain on the following:

- We started interviewing for managers before the EL Final
- We approached Alonso in December but he was clear that he was only interested in Real
- Frank has now had four interviews with the club
- Thomas Frank will be the new Spurs manager
- Donna Cullen didn’t choose to step down, she was stepped down
- Scott Munn will go shortly
- Paratici will return
- There is currently no Middle East investment coming in
- Levy will be stepped down shortly
- Ange being stepped down is therefore not a Daniel Levy decision
- Peter Charrington, an ENIC troubleshooter, has been brought in to sort out the club and will be interim chairperson for the foreseeable
- The hotel projects will be scrapped. Money will be diverted into the footballing business.

McQueen says he’s not an ITK but is simply passing on what he’s heard from a “rock solid” source.

We will see, but that’s a lot to put out there if you’re not sure on it.

Why would the hotel be scrapped? Makes absolutely no sense!

levy being stepped down? Haha by who? Only Lewis has the power to do that.

It would have to be Lewis then, if that’s the case. Who knows?

His explanation on the hotels was that there has been a decision by those taking up the new boardroom roles that the focus needs to be on the footballing side.

We shall see in the coming days.
