Wasn't there talk at the start of the window that Palace would now be open to negotiating instalments instead of receiving the release clause all up front.
Yes, but just because they no longer want all the money straight away doesn’t mean that they aren’t still wanting a very large chink up front. Which isn’t great to deal with if we’re trying to push other transfers through as well.Wasn't there talk at the start of the window that Palace would now be open to negotiating instalments instead of receiving the release clause all up front.
Eze is a central attacker despite what so many ppl think. He and Savinho wouldn't block each other.I think given the choice I'd go for Savinho now if it was a case if either/or, but I certainly wouldn't say no to Eze if he's available and keen.
One things for absolute certain, if we get them it will be attributed to Vinay and if we don’t it will be “classic Levy”…We won't get either of them. This feels like classic Levy 'we tried' territory.
He plays both and as we have covered before played mainly left at palaceEze is a central attacker despite what so many ppl think. He and Savinho wouldn't block each other.
I've heard we're selling the stadium to West Ham as well.I’ve mentally prepared myself for savinho to stay at city and eze to go to arsenal after we’ve agreed a fee and personal terms with him
Is this just before or just after season ending injuries for Romero and VDV?I've heard we're selling the stadium to West Ham as well.
Yes mate, I didn’t want TF to shat himself and thought it needed a refreshHashechangedhisnameyet?
This isn’t Arsene Wenger with him coming out saying we nearly signed this player and that player. Levy has never said we have tried to sign anyone, sometimes we are not successful but most of the time we have never actually put in a bid for the players we “almost” signed. We won't get either of them. This feels like classic Levy 'we tried' territory.
That would be a great window but we usually do things quietly and quickly hence why I think this is all flimflam, probably rumours sent out from Eze's camp to push Arsenal in to buying him. Therefore that's why I fully expect there will be a breaking news on sky "Arsenal steal Eze from Spurs as fee and terms agreed" flicker.Get Savinho and Eze, after Kudus, with Pahlinha coming in, and I’d say that’s a damn good window. Would only want an Udogie back up to add to it.
Not sure that it puts us in title contention, but it’s a very strong window for the club that should be praised if we can pull it off.

Vertonghen.H
Think he will still go to Arsenal and we will likely have another failed transfer. Can't remember the last time we went head to head with arsenal and won a transfer. Last time I was optimistic was Baptista and I was very upset. Not sure why he was ropey as fudge.

Sadly just used to this kind of stuff, and Arsenal imo are currently more attractive than Spurs to sign/play for, as much it pains me to say.
Or a center back to allow VDV to move to left back
