Eberechi Eze

Kulu is injured and not really that suited to playing as a central attacking midfield player.

Maddison is a better central attacking midfield player than Eze.
I would disagree with both those points...

I think most fans think Kulusevski has more potential central than out wide

I also think most people would rather have Eze ahead of Maddison in central attacking midfield.

But I guess opinions are what we are here for lol.

I'd love to fast forward now to the end of the window and see who we end up with.. feels a bit desperate at the minute but there's still time for a few surprises.

lol - are you thinking we'll sign Rodrygo and let Sonny go?

He play left
Sarr okays right
Mateta plays CF
That’s how I’ve always seen them line up
Modern Football isn't played exactly to formations posted on the TV screen at the beginning of matches or according to Championship Manager rules.
Eze plays mainly through the centre for palace and also LCF position.
At Spurs Madison is shown on TV as playing through the middle behind the CF, but most games he's mainly on the left of midfield, occasionally moving into advanced central positions.

Eve is a superstar player, miles better than all our current attacking players. Big mistake not get him this window.

I agree
But he does play on the left in a very simialr role to what son used too but without the shooting
They have Mitchell at left back who doesnt do much attacking at all

IMO Eze is the equivalent to what Bale or a Berba was at Spurs in their last season, way better than everyone else on the pitch and ready to be snapped up by a much bigger club.

The only difference was that Spurs are a more high profile stage than Palace are, so that next step was a RM or prime ManU for our players where as for Eze it's likely to be a Spurs or Arsenal for Eze. But the point is if he moves now he's going to be the next superstar...

Maddison's heat map is also heavily biased to the left.Would you see him as a LWF? Seriously if you watch Palace, he's a central attacker who biased to the left like Maddison. He's not playing a LWF cutting in off the right. Yes England have played him there but that's not his role for Palace.
I would
Maddison struggles to pass right
Said it last year but for me he should have been given some games in sons role

I don't see Kulu doing much good work starting inside. I see most of his good work being done cutting inside from the right. I can see Kulu playing as a support striker in a 4-4-2 type formation or even a 4-1-3-1 type formation where the central player has is free to roam across the pitch in the attacking areas and has no defensive responsibility but not really somebody that can play as one of the midfield 3 in a 4-3-3.

As I've repeatedly said I would've signed Enzo Millot as our Maddison cover/competition. He is ready now but also has a huge upside. A slightly leftfield suggestion for an alternative could be Pacqueta from West Ham, has lots of quality and has shown he has what it takes for the PL. McAtee from Emirates Marketing Project would be a good long term option. El Khannouss, who we've been linked with from Leicester, is also a decent option. None of those players would break the bank.

Hincapie would be a sensible signing right now in the fact that he can play left back in a 4 at the back system or left sided centre back in either a 3 or a 4 at the back system. Though I think we only sign another centre back if Romero leaves (which seems to be getting less and less likely).

Hincapie would be a disproportionate amount of the budget now as they have sold a lot of players
I do believe we will see another attacking mid come in
The links have been there and the MGW deal showed that we want something different
