Dunfermline - Anyone been there ?

Im going to Dunfermline next month for a gig. Anyone been there that could tell me what its like. Going to be there for just 1 day and night, going on train so no car. Any good watering holes or general info would be appreciated.

If the gig was in Dunfermline. Did a mini tour of Scotland in 98ish, can remember most of the venues but not all.
