Dominic Solanke

Spurs to sign a forward on Deadline Day?

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy loves a Deadline Day deal and Spurs fans will be hoping for a late rabbit out of the hat.
Sky Sports News have reported that signing a left-winger is still a target for Tottenham.
There have been reports this morning that Spurs have enquired over a move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani.
Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman has been another name linked with a move to the north London club.
Spurs are sure to be a club to watch today.
I would take either I would be shocked if we went for both

Reports from who?

Found it

If it's true, I would rather we went for a striker than a nother winger then. Someone that will take the first team spot
I struggle to imagine a scenario where we are going to buy a better striker than Solanke today. Not because I think Solanke is irreplaceable but if we haven't already been having this conversation to find someone today and to be able and willing to pay what ever feels is required, I just can't see it.

I would say more likely to be a loan if we did something today. I'd also suggest we've been looking at potential strikers for a while, to replace/upgrade on Richi. Perhaps this has forced our hand (and I'd imagine we knew about Solanke for a good few days before Saturday), who knows....

With Solanke looking to be out and the CL squad to be named tomorrow think that leaves us with just the four association trained players Gray, Spence, Johnson and Davies and Austin as club trained, has Scarlett got a loan yet if not we might as well put him on the CL list.

If we get Lookman that adds a homegrown player to the squad.

Really looking forwards to this guy under Frank after what the latter did with Toney. Think he will bind our attack way better than Richy. He will be better on the quick whipped ground balls we have been playing from the back out of the press as well as generally being a better hold up merchant.
