Destiny Udogie

Looks like Destiny recently signed with a new agency so who was he with before?

We don't know it was his previous agent. Might be some chancer who met him and made a load of promises then got tinkled off when he didn't get the role.
It will come out soon enough.

True but coincidence, change agents, the agency loses it's highest earner and player gets threatened.

Players gets rid of old agency. Then talks to different agents to see what one he wants to go with.
It might be his old agent. Although he'd have to have come over from italy. Then get a gun from somewhere.

Hopefully don Paratici will get Frank another left footed player of this calibre in January...

It feels that Odobert has a chance here to grab the LW spot. I feel he has some trickery BUT also the best connection with Udogie as a team player. Can move to allow Udogie the outside lane or the inside lane. I think they could make a good combo

I wish we'd play a system which suits the skills our players have best. For me, Odobert is not reallty a LW more than a half-space left-sided attacker. I'd still love to see either 4-2-3-1 or 3-5-2. Imagine this as a (sort of!) 3-5-2

Vic

Romero
Danso
VdV

Udogie
Odobert
Pahlinha
Simons
Porro

Kudus
Muani

If there's concern about the midfield being too light, then Sarr in there. However I think IF we could get Simons, Odobert, and Udogie together on the same pitch we'd see a lot of chances created. Of course this is not how TF would ever have us playing, so...

p.s. With that midfield, you could swap Pahlinha and Bentancur out, you could bring in Sarr, Gray, Johnson or Lucas at will for Odobert, Simons and Kudus, there's a lot of possibilities and that's without even seeing Deki back (let alone Madders)...

Anyway, I digressed LOL!!!!!

Why do you think we won't see the trilogy of Udogie, Odobert and Simons? He played all three on Tuesday and saw good results. I'm not so sure that he's so rigidly defensively minded that he wouldn't try it again in a match he thinks it will work in.

Here's hoping we see it more...
