Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

Owner and board member. However much he was paid, it doesn't mean (if it is true, which I struggle to beleive) that it is right that he was ousted without notice or ahead of whatever timeline had previously been planned.
If you are an exec board member and you are ousted it will pretty much always be without notice. I’m sure Daniel saw this coming when Charrington came in and Vinai was appointed.

Totally get that - but he was not just an Exec board member, he also has a significant ownership stake.
I have no doubt he believed and knew this to be the longer term plan, but I maintain (if it is true that it was out of the blue, which I still struggle with), that it was hugely disrepectful given what he has done for the club and what he has done for the value of the ENIC investmemt (which is what everyone seems to think is the main driver).

End of day, all I care about is Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and if we end up in a better place due to these changes, then that's great. But it doesn't mean I feel happy with the way this has transpired. The irony is it probably pushes me more towards an anti-ENIC position.

that says more about the other forums than this place

ENIC have changed this club massively for the better

In some areas they have, commercially, the training ground and the stadium.

On the pitch which is the most important part hasn’t been as good. Transfers is another area that at times has left a lot to be desired.

If I was running a takeover of any club, I'd want Levy running it, his presence would make Spurs the primary target, he's one of, if not the best, administrator in sport. He will be getting offers from clubs all over the world.
It would be a delicious soap opera if Levy is made chairman or CEO of another Big 6 club.

As I said before, I can see him becoming a bigwig at the Premier League or UEFA or FIFA.

Possible conflict of interest whilst he still has a significant shareholding in THFC.
In an ideal world where he no longer had an ownership stake I would have loved to see him as the football regulator. That would boil some p!ss for sure.

Would be a great choice by the government for the head role of the new regulator, though I don’t think the salary would work for Daniel, if he’s got desires for a gong though?

its unequivocally been better on the pitch, at what other point in our history have we been so consistently near the top of the league and in the European Cup?
