Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

This is it in a nutshell.

I wonder how many of the Levy out phalanx are the same numpties that are painting Red crosses on roundabouts and Dustbins (you read that right some one actually painted a red cross on a dustbin.

A dustbin!!!

The Disrespect of that is outstanding and completely oblivious to them.

Because, statistically speaking, Levy's tenure can be described as a significant improvement over the noughties from a mean of 12th position at its beginning of the decade to 6th at its end and then a reasonably sustained plateau of 4 - 5th in the subsequent decade and a half, excluding last year's outlier.
Either way, the trend is upwards so I was just genuinely curious. I'm also curious what this graph would look like without that outlier haha... guessing that would keep the last 15 years also in an upward trend.

What do you gang make of Levy's son being the CEO of Tavistock?

Did he give the go ahead for his Dad to be removed?
He's a co ceo ... and it indicates long deep rooted ties between the families.. I wouldn't believe half the tabloid waffle and rumour.. we've just got out of transfer season and all the waffle itk that comes with it ... Enic/tavistock are a well run business with few leaks .. think all the noise is just speculation.. it's more likey that this was planned .. 25 yeas is a long time it's a big job and an all consuming one . Wife recently had cancer he's taken us as far as he can and time to ride off into the background and enjoy life .

On Josh he's very sharp and a ceo of a business operating in the same space as mine I don't know him but have met him on a few occasions.. you can never say never but his family bond is strong I couldn't conceive he would be involved in any hostile action against his father .

Again just speculation because unless they tell us we won't flicking know ... and if they tell us it's the cleverly constructed pr story they want to tell , not necessarily the truth .

So all we have is a million media sources peadaling their narrative for engagement that leads to exposure/revenue.

A mentor once told me something that's stuck for over 30 years

The truth is a perception of circumstances determined by need

I think it's a good way to view anything anyone tells you

I'd like to win consistently. I don't really care for being there or thereabouts without any pay off consistently, but that's just me.

The EL win (not the performance) was better for me than just getting to the CL final or our various CL runs (despite some of them being really good). I feel sometimes as far base we've become so allergic to winning that we search for gratification by other means. Consistently almost being there is cool but if you never actually get there, in the end who cares?

I get why people would perform mental gymnastics like that when we weren’t winning things, but we’ve got the ultimate ammunition now that we’ve just won a trophy.
