Yeah, it is somewhat important, don't start fires, but it really misses the point. It is so inadequate for the moment.The disposable bbq ban isn't just flimflam though.
It isn't to do with climate change as much as the immediate need to prevent wildfires. They should have been banned, along with sky lanterns years ago as they cause significant damage to rare and vulnerable habitat every year, not just this. They are totally unnecessary and add significantly to the loading for emergency services every summer.
