Honestly think it my favourite Xmas tune...just love the way it simply rolls along...but you never get bored of it.

I think the Pretenders one (2000 Miles) is the only one remaining that doesn't make me taste vom when it comes on. The Tim Wheeler and Emmy The Great album is also tolerable.

Our Xmas party was semi-cancelled, due to the wave of redundancies.
Most people didn't want to go anymore.
Then the staff decided to all meet up on the 10th instead, as an independent thing, they don't want anything to do with the official one.
I decided not to go, will just be lots of recriminations and screaming; I'm gonna take my redundancy pay and presumably never see/talk to these people ever again, after Friday 19th.

That's a shame, I retired 25 years ago and regularly meet up with some of my friends from work for a curry and a beer.
