Carabao Cup draw - The road to Wembley (Via Milton Keynes!)

Tottenham set for MK STadium return if League Cup draw at home

Tottenham face playing yet another game at the Stadium MK this season in a fresh twist regarding their ongoing stadium debacle, according to the Times.

The newspaper claim on their website that there has been a fresh twist over the Lilywhites playing their games at Wembley while they wait for their new home ground to be completed after delays, after talks with the FA revealing that Wembley Stadium will be made unavailable for their date of their fourth round League Cup clash due to the pitch needing to recover from a busy schedule.

It is stated that if Spurs were to be drawn at home then they would have to find a temporary solution yet again, having defeated Watford at the Stadium MK on Wednesday night, and that MK Dons’ ground would likely be the venue again.
