He didn’t look out of place at all in a midfield two. Kept it simple but didn’t hide and did exactly what was required.

It certainly adds fuel to the fire of what happened last season and the debate whether kids should be used in a crisis. We had Olusesi on the bench for long periods during the injury crisis. I think he got 1 single minute in Germany as Ange persisted in sticking with his senior players even if that meant only using a couple of subs.

Is he suddenly that much better as a 19 year old versus last season's 18 year old?

I was really pleased for the kid who has once again spent a load of time on this season's bench.
