Brennan Johnson

I think he's adapting (very good attribute), he was very raw and Ange is pushing him to build on that (as he talks about in interview), and he's listening and executing
Yes, he said in the interview that there is sooooo much to learn and he has learned so much at Spurs.
For me it seems pretty simple; get past the full back and ping it across the box. Be in the middle to finish moves from the left. Grow a mullet in year 3.

Good numbers. Matches they eye test too, his end product has been really good. Those stats don't factor in minutes played, I think he probably would do even better if they did.

Still some steps to take, but a good first season for him.

I really don't see what he offers the team. He's quick by doesn't use his speed, had acres to dribble into in the first half then was so hesitant and tripped over the ball.

Wish we'd used the money for Olise instead. But that ship has sailed

Been saying it for some time ... his decision making is not great and his pace is hardly used to exploit teams ...

Would solve the Son problem instead then lol
If you have pace and movement one side and trickery on the other and you also switch up you have options
I know I’m gonna get accused of defending Johnson but watching tonight he only ever got the ball slow … that isn’t ever gonna suit his game
Son did get some decent balls and made some great play but he faded very very quickly.,. Worryingly so
