Drink= Jack Daniels
Food= Pasta

Song= O when the Spurs go marching in

Spurs Player: Hoddle, Alli, Kane
Spurs Manager: Poch (honourable mention for Burky)
Strip: 1981/82 Le Coq home shirt

Best Beer: Corona (at the ground? I like Neck Oil but am not fussy on my beer as I am mostly a whiskey drinker IF i'm going to drink)
Best Food Option: Mexican (edit - on matchday it used to be a Chippie down the Seven Sisters Road about 5 mins from the public toilets tha became a pub - it's now a kebab place...the Jamaican food stand near Ledders mural is good, and TBH, the food options in the new stadium are all really decent IMO)

Best Spurs Song: Oh When The Spurs (two slow refrains and then the final faster crescendo)
Best Part of the Ground to Watch a Game: Halfway line at least halfway up the stand (where my Shelf standing ticket was)
Best stadium old White Hart Lane or the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium? New stadium is great but the old WHL was just...well...brilliant!

Best player has to be Kane or Bale. How lucky were we to witness their ascent? Seeing Kane arrive in the team and then affirm himself as one of the greatest goal scorers in world football was a special time. He stayed longer than Bale and was more consistent. Bale could be next level - unplayable - or playing on another planet. But he wasn’t like that every game. Kane gets the accolade from me for his amazing consistency and the enjoyment of witnessing one of our own climb up from also-ran loanee to bonifide world beater.

Can see why Poch gets so many votes for best manager as that time watching Kane arrive has a lot to do with Poch. We also got Ali, Son and other magic players like Dembele click under the Argie. It was an exciting time with the new stadium and everything feeling positive as Spurs evolved and developed into a top team. An exciting time and Poch was a lovely manager who brought on a lot of players. But…Postecoglou is technically ‘the best’ 😂 - he delivered a trophy. 🏆 and gets my vote. Im both thankful for his tenure, and that he’s gone. Such is life supporting this club!

Can’t argue with the Holsten Strip - iconic.

Neck Oil.

ANy of the decent Kurdish mangal places. Lentil soup and/or grilled meat, salad and bread.

Song is a hard one. Maybe the Yid chant or tried to stop us for the togetherness and defiance of external criticism. Us against the world.

South Stand. Bettered only by the Sky Lounge. Has anyone managed to watch a game from there?

WHL - I miss the intimacy. The new stadium still has the spine-tingling-awe when you emerge from the concours a minute before kick off. But it was more authentic at WHL and everyone was tightly knit which felt more together. Nothing stays the same and technically the new stadium is the better facility, lauded by neutrals as the best int he land. WHL will always be first in my hart. 😉
