I've not seen a thread on him. If there is, please merge.

If the rumors are to be believed, it's between us and Dortmand in the battle to sign the 20 year old Brazilian winger/attacking midfielder. £15m has been mentioned.

Anyone on here seen much of him? All I know is that he's short (5ft 4) and fast.

I'd never heard of him before, but I'm desperate to sign him if only because of what happened with Oscar.
 
Seems to be a fair few Brazilian journos on twitter who reckon he will come to us, or we are at least in serious talks.

Obviously you take it with a pinch of salt but the rumour may have legs.
 
I think it between us a Dortmund for him and Eriksen, hopefully we will get one each. I would prefer Bernard though from what I have seen of them both.
 
Hope we can get him, he'll probably end up at City though ... or Chelsea, they're short of attacking midfielders.

Smaller than Lennon coming in at 5ft 4in. I'd be concerned by his size in the PL looks very lightweight, but does look silky on the ball.
 
Physicality has pretty much been taken out of the game these days anyway, as long as we don't have him marking Terry at corners I think he'd cope alright.

They are very different players. Eriksen is more a one-paced #10, whereas Bernard looks more like a rapid winger.

Personally I'm not sure either are particularly what we need. Bernard isn't really a proper inside forward and Eriksen isn't dominating enough to be our CM ballplayer.
 
Intellegent, good finisher, can cross and take a corner. AVB's Willian type player for the left of a front three? What's the catch?
