Im told you wave your phone over it, and you get video clips like a barcode scanner. Any good examples out there?
Yeah thats what Aurasma boasts, but like say i only tried it on the sun newspaper logo and i can see this augmented reality certainly has potential... Very Sci-Fi if they pull it off well
what would be ace is if you wave it over the match program on a trigger image, like BALE 3, and you get a little video of him scoring against Inter. or something. no idea how you can make money off it, except buying the app.
Its being used as a gimmick mainly.
If you want a video of Bale scoring you google it much more convenient that waving your phone around.
One of the only useful augmented reality applications is for translation.
How handy is this when your abroad.
