So my only real complaint regarding Kinsky had been his lack of brick saving or even his lack of attempts at saving shots, which I found very strange for a keeper. Maybe it was just settling in and adjustment issues but recently this game and I believe it was the Wolves free kick at the end of the match have been fantastic.
Yesterday's save from Longstaff was genuinely world class (not calling him that by any means, but the save was), I think he's convinced me now. The rest of his game was fine but the most important thing a keeper can do is actually stop the ball going into the net and now he's doing that so no complaints and at the very least he makes moving Vicario on more comfortable.

Absolutely this. He's a keeper so he could still make the mistake that costs us (or the save that keeps us up if last night wasn't it) but, based on everything we know now, keeping him in goal is the right decision.
He made a very good save v Sunderland, a great one v Wolves and two brilliant saves last night. He hasn't cost us a goal in the 5 games. He couldn't have done any more. And he's bloody brilliant with the ball at his feet. It really is important in terms of trying to bait the opposition into pressing us because he doesn't panic like Vic and he can play good passes off either foot.
Would be madness to drop him now. Delighted for the lad after Madrid.

His weakness is still shots into the corner on an angle - look at the penalty; he got over really well, but didn't get his arm out.
Other than that, he's a good all-round keeper with lots of time to grow.

Darlow last night reminded me of Vicario, everytime he had the ball at his feet he panicked and he made their defence uneasy

The commentators at the time....didn't give that stop enough credit (they did at halftime though)...was excellent.

The point monkey barry is making is still relevant until we are proven different. When he had that short run in the team under ange he let in two bad goals away to scum and villa that were angled low shots close to his body.
The Madrid game was a one off. His strengths are the ball at his feet, coming for crosses and corners.
But the shot stopping he did last night was amazing. So I'm assuming he has been working hard on that aspect of his game.

Which is natural. He's now had a long period facing shorts from players of a higher standard than the Czech Lge.
That header down to his left was excellent. When he joined, he gets a hand to it, but it goes in - the difference between half a second of reaction time, tiny positioning tweaks and knowing what you're dealing with.
That will come with the shot stopping too - ironically he probably isn't helped because our strikers are brick!

so glad for him, he read Calvin's direction for the pen, but it was struck hard and high - the other two highlighted saves were immense!
Looking at his body posture during the games, and especially his saves, he has grown massively in confidence - and so have the backline! They believe in him more and more
His footwork and passing were always going to be his strengths and as we don't play out form the back as much, his passing is on show and has been great
He has reacted brilliantly since the match at Atletico, taking his opportunities with both hands, no looking back.

Richie was quite strongly telling him which way it would be struck. (Kinsky might have decided to go that way in any case, but Richie was definitely telling him to go to his right).
I agree he definitely seems to have bought some confidence and calmness to the defence (and to me as welll when the oppostion are attacking the goal in front of me!).

Why do you say that? He's in the right place and he reacts brilliantly. For me luck is when you're in position and the striker hits it right at you. Kinsky had to move his hands quick to get that decisive touch. I thought it was a magnificent save.

Goalkeeper positioning is the skill. A great keeper isn't making saves diving halfway across their goal. The great keepers are already positioned to make the minimum movement to make the save.
