Andy booth? Was he any good?

He was such a strange signing. We were desperate for strikers and ended up with Booth on loan. A not too dissimilar move to when we signed Peter Beadle after Lineker left.

I need to post something to find out....please excuse me...

Edit: DOH! The one and only Anthony Gardner. Feted to be so great, but was consistently pretty poor for us. Still playing for Sheffield Wednesday now - so he made a decent career for himself.

Gardner had some good games for us. His confidence was destroyed along with a lot of other defenders' in that shoddy late 90s/early 00s team. Amazed King somehow wasn't scarred for life.

Andy Booth only played four times for us, and in the dim recesses of my memory I seem to recall at least one of those appearances if not more were as a sub. All i'll say is that the lad did his best, he was certainly a tryer. Dave McEwan was a punt on a kid from Dulwich Hamlet Fc, I think he ended up at QPR after a season or so at Spurs. Statto?

So how does this work? Am I destined to be Jamie o'hara for good??? Not impressed!!!

Neither are we, but some web searching led us to believe that you in fact are Jamie O'Hara, and will remain that way for your entire stay.

Fun fact: did you know your wife was referred to as a *** bucket here a while ago? It caused a stir.

Yes, he had 4 games for Spurs in 2000-01 before moving to QPR where he fared little better.

He ended his career at non-League Hertford Town.

ah andy booth, an "old fashioned" big unit of a centre forward, good in the air, no pace, was best tapping in from 2 yards, a journeyman in every sense
