Being pleasant doesn't mean bending over backwards for me, it just means making the deal work for both parties. A negotiation that both parties feel happy with is one that is more likely to lead to repeat business and we are always going to need to buy and sell players.And thats fine, but there is also a line.........being pleasant in business terms usually means you have mad more concessions than the other person. Given that Risdale has sunk more companies than the Bismarck, I will take a waiting brief
Ultimately the equity in football is to win, so all this nicely nicely stuff has to result in both footballing and financial success. Let see how it goes before we start handing out awards
