And thats fine, but there is also a line.........being pleasant in business terms usually means you have mad more concessions than the other person. Given that Risdale has sunk more companies than the Bismarck, I will take a waiting brief

Ultimately the equity in football is to win, so all this nicely nicely stuff has to result in both footballing and financial success. Let see how it goes before we start handing out awards
Being pleasant doesn't mean bending over backwards for me, it just means making the deal work for both parties. A negotiation that both parties feel happy with is one that is more likely to lead to repeat business and we are always going to need to buy and sell players.

Its dog eat dog

TBF, given our spending this summer on the back of Levy 20 years here, I take that over Peter Risdale at PNE saying he is happy with the business from Devine...........

Refreshing........

You are right. But we were clearly at a point with Levy where he had burned too many bridges.

I agree

But let's noy lie and align with Risdale over him in business and pretend this spending doesnt come because of the commercial work laid down by Levy.

Its embarrassing

Agreed although I do remember seeing something which showed Spurs growth just aligns with overall revenue growth of English & European football. The reason we are ahead of clubs we has parity with in 2001 when ENIC came in like Saudi Sportswashing Machine, Villa, Everton etc are only behind us because they have grossly under performed against that growth. Il try and find it.

Simplitically if we were at old 34,000 WHL we wouldn't be able to do what we do.....unless we had a sustained time in the CL and flipped players to fund more.
