FFS Ange!I dont know any team that has picked up injuries to three midfielders (possibly four) in one game. This just goes on and on, feel like we have been on this injury hex for 3 years solid now

FFS Ange!
We joke, but I think it’s so cowardly of people to not hold there hands up and say they might have been wrong here.
The accusations levelled at Ange were genuinely awful. A man with decades of experience was apparently ignoring medical advice and putting his player’s health and careers at risk, all because once upon a time he made a comment about it maybe taking time for players’ bodies to adapt to his demands.

There was plenty of grounds to believe that the style of play was causing our injury problems last season, not least the number of sprints our players were undertaking - Ange himself has said throughout his career that his approach causes injuries and it isn't sonething that he is prepared to compromise on and it's an accepted fact that injuries are high under him as teams 'adjust' to how he wants to play and train.
So no, there will be no holding up of hands regarding the injuries.
We currently have injuries to 7 players - 2 long term injuries. This leaves 5, which is about par for the course for the PL currently.
Surely we have three long term, maddison, kulu and dom?
Until recently it was four with dragusin.

You're seriously standing by the idea that the injuries last season were Ange's fault?
What is the counter argument? That we're experiencing a normal level of injuries this season?
Don't avoid try to the question. Do you blame Ange Postecoglou for the injury crisis that happened last season?
How am I avoiding the question? I think my first post above spells out my position quite plainly.
For avoidance of doubt - yes, yes I do.
I was just confirming. Because that's gotta be one of the dumbest fudging things ever written on here. Well done. Nice to add another one to me list of people to avoid on here.
Let's hear your counter argument then? Ive explained why my position hasn't changed. We've gone from a super high number of injuries to a normal level of injuries - had our injury levels remained high then I could see reason to re-think it, but it hasn't
Like I said, you're accusing a professional manager of ignoring medical advice to put the health of his players' at risk. Why bother arguing with someone who genuinely thinks like that?

Where did I say that?
I'm all for hearing arguments that would have me think otherwise - seeings as you are the one that raised the point initially i would have thought that you would have some thoughts as to why our style of play was not a contributing factor to our injuries last season - if you don't fair enough.
Mate, I know the Ange bashing really grates on you but at some point you might have to try and move on from it. There are still people arguing whether Poch was sacked at the right time or whether we should have stuck by him and those debates never end! Some people will always believe Anges style of football causes more injuries and no amount of 'prove it' posts will convince people. (Just to be clear I didnt like Ange but have no real opinion on this injury discussion). You’re making accusations. Typically, the burden is on you to prove it. So go on. Actual evidence too. Not “he said this one thing in the past.”

You are the one making the initial accusation here - you've seen us pick up a couple of injuries recently and couldn't contain yourself to start calling people out - so the onus is on you to explain why our current injury situation proves anything wrt last season.
I've explained my reasoning - If you don't agree with it and refuse to refute it then best leave it there.

There's a whole world of more interesting things to discuss regarding Spurs and our current situation!![]()
What do I have to prove? That injuries happen in football? We've had a lot this season -- currently 7, but we've had a lot more. Just like we had a lot last season. Just like many other teams are suffering from and have been suffering from. Do I know why? Do I fudge. I have theories around the amount of travelling and games players are put through these days, but I am very far from certain on that.
Somehow, you are 100% certain that Ange is responsible for what happened last season. Your reasoning is:
That's literally fudging it.
