Meanwhile our left siders (Tel, Odobert) sit down.

Seems a sure sign that Frank doesn't fancy Odobert in the 10 position, playing Sarr then Bergvall.

What defensive capabilities?

He has no attacking abilities on the right either. Hes a find the right moment and finish man, it really doesn't matter whether hes on the left or right if hes solely looking for penalty box finishes.

Depends what metrics you use to rate a player I guess, neither is right or wrong.

My personal preference is for my wide players to be able to do wide player stuff. If someone is playing to get in the end of things I'd rather them play upfront.

I'm with you, if he's not getting on the end of a low cross he is anonymous. Odobert must surely start before him on the left.
