    Conor Gallagher

He is a decent player, not necessarily the player we needed when we signed him, but in a less dysfunctional time we might think he was a good signing. We need some patience with rhe guy though. We keep rushing to make judgements on players. I think he will suit RDZ's high energy press.

    Job Hunting in 2026

Hello mate best of luck with the job hunt. Don't know your family circumstances but just wondered if retraining in something new was possible or would that be too much of drop in salary? I am on my second career and also began to train as an electrician (which didn't actually work out). In...

    The case for the defence

Really strange decision to appoint based on that stat- I always thought their reasoning was that Frank would make us more defensively sound!

What West Ham showed tonight was defensive resilience. You're in the game if you don't concede. Unfortunately we usually have to outscore our opponents by at least 2 goals to win. That's unfortunately why I think we are still favourites to go down out of the Wham Forest and us. 😔

Looks like WHAM will get a result today. Palace look poor.

It’s so telling comparing the way City pass between lines to our laboured passing why we are where we are. Brighton, Bournemouth even Forest pass better than us. Something else that RDZ needs to work on.

Semenyo looks like he’s had lead boots fitted at City. Half the player he was at Bournemouth.

    Xavi Simons

You're right I don't know for sure. But we know that RDZ dropped Xavi vs Sunderland for Lucas Bergvall who offers more energy (albeit less channelled. And we know from his time at Brighton he expects his players to be high energy in game. Given that, I would have thought it unlikely (but not...

    Xavi Simons

I seriously doubt it, because at a time we cannot defend for toffee, there isn't the luxury for any player to coast in the game. He needs to be working hard all the time to cover space when we don't have the ball. He can rest when the season is done. Yesterday there was a gaping hole on the...

    Xavi Simons

No one is absolving Frank of anything. He's a decent man who failed at Spurs. Won't be the first won't be the last. Make no mistake if the structures don't change at Spurs, RDZ will be gone at the end of next season too. But the degree of story telling around Frank's time here is incredible. I...

Don't know enough about him yet. He is a good player whenbI watched him on loan at Palace. I actually think he has good technical ability but he is an attacking midfielder rather than a defensive one. We need to judge him next season if he stays.

    Xavi Simons

I don't understand this at all. He played well for Frank in several games and less well in others! Brentford and Sunderland at home and also in games in the Champions League spring to mind. The inconsistency is pretty normal for a young player adapting to the PL. You also have to factor in that...

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

It was clear very early on that Tudor was not working. We should have ended it after Fulham imo. RDZ in post Vs Palace who were on a bad run would probably have given us a better chance of winning.

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

Love his passion on the sidelines. Like the way he conducts himself in pressers. Constantly cajoling and looking to change things during games. There was a moment yesterday when he pushed one of his coaches angrily which sums up his personality pitch side. I suspect he will be spending a lot of...

The reason we have struggled in the league over the last 4 seasons other than a purple patch at the start of Ange, is 1) an inability to stop conceding goals at an alarming rate. Even this season we are among the worst for goals against. 2) injuries to offensive players and a failure to...

Agree. Muani is a big problem for us if he's not tracking back as he adds very little offensively.

We could beat Wolves but Leeds are playing really well and Everton defend like well organised Moyes teams always do. We need points at Villa (hopefully concentrating on the EL) and Stamford Bridge (relatively poor form). Madders back is the real positive from today. If he can play a part in...

I prefer that our defenders don't let someone have a free shot in our box! Or let a cross come in from wide. Our closing down by our midfield when Paulinha is not playing is so poor. Just one of the many issues with the midfield.
